Lauren Wah, RYS 200
Lauren began her yoga journey in 2002 as a recovery exercise while running track in college. Movement has always been a part of her life—running, lifting, cycling, Pilates, and jujitsu—with yoga originally serving as a recovery day. She practiced about once a week for many years, until 2024 when space opened for more. Coming to the mat three to five times a week, yoga shifted into something entirely different—an exploration, a meditation, and an internal connection. Yoga became more than a recovery workout; it became a way of living.
Yoga has taught Lauren to listen to and honor her body. It has shown her that stillness is okay—just as powerful as movement. It continues to shape how she moves through the world with more intention, kindness, and presence. Lauren’s mission is to guide a heart-led yoga asana practice that connects the mind and body, creating space to explore what lies within. Through movement, breath, and presence, the practice invites joy, curiosity, self-growth, and happiness. Her intention is to support each student in becoming their best self—both on and off the mat.
Lauren completed her 200 RYT in 2026 through her home studio, Studios at Downtown.
Heart open. Breath steady. Mind present. Smile.
